Therapist. Coach. Human. Curious as hell about what makes us tick.

Hi, I’m Bridget Weigel (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Denver, Colorado…and I’m really glad you’re here.

If you’ve landed on this page, chances are something in your life feels off. Maybe you’re carrying a lot of anxiety, unlearning old patterns, working through relational tensions, or just… searching. My job isn’t to “fix” you because I don’t believe you’re broken. My job is to help you reconnect with your own clarity, courage, and capacity for change.

I bring a mix of clinical expertise, lived experience, humor, and heart to the work we do together. You can expect real talk, a safe space to feel your feelings, and someone who’s not afraid to sit with the hard stuff while cheering for your growth at the same time.

My Approach: Deep, Relational, and Somatically Attuned

I work from the belief that healing happens in relationship — not just romantic ones, but also the one you have with yourself, your story, and your body.

I use a range of tools depending on what you need:

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

A Big Dose of Realness, Compassion, and Curiosity

You don’t need to show up perfect. You just need to show up.

I Didn’t Just Study This…I Lived It

I grew up watching someone I love deeply wrestle with anxiety and panic, and felt the impact ripple through my family and into my own body. I carried fear and confusion into adulthood, asking myself questions like “Is this just what life is?” I had this aching sense of potential inside me that I couldn’t quite touch.

I also grew up in a funeral home (yep — like in the movie, My Girl) with a dad who was a funeral director. Talking about life and death around the dinner table was normal. So it became clear to me early on: this life is short, and the quality of it depends on the quality of our relationships — to others and to ourselves.

It’s from this space—personal, human, and messy—that I was drawn into the work of therapy. I wanted to understand what shapes us, what holds us back, and how we begin to move toward something freer and more connected. I’ve done my own work. I continue to do it. And I bring that integrity into every session.

The People I Work With

I love working with individuals and relationships who are open to growth, even if that growth feels messy or uncertain at first. My clients are deep feelers, often "high-functioning" on the outside but craving more authenticity, internal organization, relational connection, or healing on the inside.

I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, sex positive, and a safe space for folks exploring ethical non-monogamy, gender and sexual identity, body image, grief, and all the complexity that comes with being human.

I am committed to holding safety for all marginalized clients by deepening my education and understanding of the many layers of racial and cultural oppression, cultural identity, and my own privilege as White cis woman.

If you are human, you are welcome here.

Let’s Be Real: Therapy is Work, But It’s Worth It

Together, we’ll go deep, slow down, and look at what’s under the surface, the stories, protections, wounds, and strengths that have shaped you. No matter what depth feels comfortable for you, I am your guide. You get to own your story. You get to take up space. You get to evolve.

If you're ready to start showing up for yourself in a bigger way…I’m here for it.
