My Approach to Counseling & Coaching

Relational. Adaptive. Organized. Rooted in our internal wisdom.

Always human.

There’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing, which is why my work is grounded in flexibility, collaboration, and connection. At the core of everything I do is relationship: the therapeutic relationship between you and me, the relationship you have with yourself, and the relationships that have shaped you.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Denver, Colorado. I work with individuals and couples across the state, both virtually and in-person, using a range of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. Together, we’ll find what actually works for you.

Healing Begins With Relationship.

I believe the most powerful tool in therapy is the space we create together — one that feels safe, grounded, and real. The connection between therapist and client is foundational. From that relationship, we can begin to explore what hurts, what’s stuck, and what’s possible.

I draw from several modalities depending on your needs, your goals, and your nervous system. I approach therapy through a nervous system, body-informed, attachment-aware lens. That means we’ll pay attention not just to your thoughts and behaviors, but also to how your body is holding and making meaning of your experiences. Your family story, your culture, your trauma history, and your strengths all matter here.  We work together to organize and heal your inner world to better walk through your external world.

Below are a few of the primary approaches I integrate into my work:

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

For individuals and couples who want to go beyond surface-level solutions.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps us get to the heart of relational dynamics, whether you're working through patterns in a partnership or exploring your own emotional cycles. EFT supports us in understanding how attachment, safety, and vulnerability show up in the way you connect.

For couples, it’s an incredible tool for working through conflict and disconnection and build emotional intimacy. For individuals, it’s a powerful way to build more secure, connected relationships — both with others and with yourself.

Great for:

  • Couples/relationships stuck in repetitive arguments

  • Individuals exploring attachment and blocks to emotional intimacy

  • Anyone wanting to know what the  hell is going on in relationships!

  • …and you, if this resonates!

Somatic Psychotherapy &  Movement

For those who know it’s not all in your head.

Somatic therapy bridges the mind and body. So many of us have learned to disconnect from our bodies to survive — especially after trauma or chronic stress. But our nervous system and brain carries our lived experience, and often holds the key to healing.

In our work together, we’ll slow down and tune into your body: tension, numbness, activation, fatigue. These sensations are often messengers. Through gentle awareness and grounding practices, we’ll build your capacity to feel more present, safe, and alive in your own skin.

Great for:

  • Trauma recovery

  • Chronic anxiety or shutdown

  • Feeling out of touch with your body or intuition

  • Less talk, more walk - we move! Non verbal attunement is a keystone for change.

  • …and you if any of this resonates!

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

For reprocessing trauma and breaking free from stuck patterns.

EMDR is a structured trauma therapy that helps you reprocess painful memories, so they stop feeling so charged in the present. If you’ve done talk therapy and still feel triggered or overwhelmed by past experiences, EMDR can help shift that.

It uses bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to activate your brain’s natural processing system. You don’t have to relive every detail, either, which is a common misconception about EMDR. We’ll work with what’s tolerable, at your pace, and with deep respect for your story.

Great for:

  • PTSD and complex trauma

  • Specific traumatic events no matter how "big" or "small"

  • Phobias and general anxiety

  • …and you if any of this resonates!

Other Tools I May Bring Into Our Work

  • Mindfulness, Meditation, and Movement tools and practices

  • Parts work & inner child healing

  • Nervous system education

  • Attachment theory & family systems

  • Support for ethical non-monogamy, kink & BDSM, and gender exploration

Every person is different. You don’t need to fit into a single “modality.” My approach is to listen deeply, adapt intentionally, and always prioritize what helps you feel safe and seen.
