Embodied Belonging
from Protection to Connection
What if connection could begin with learning to attune to yourself?
Embodied Belonging is an experiential process group exploring the movement from protection to connection—using movement, somatic practices, and EFT-informed group process to deepen emotional awareness and create more meaningful connection with yourself and others.
A space to feel, explore, and connect
We all develop ways of protecting ourselves when relationships, emotions, or life feel overwhelming. These patterns often make sense—and yet, over time, they can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves or the people around us. In this group, we’ll gently explore those patterns while developing greater self-attunement: the ability to notice, understand, and respond to what is happening within you. Through movement, embodied practices, emotional exploration, and group process, you'll have opportunities to experience yourself in relationship with others in a new way.
The power of being held by a group
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. A group can offer something unique: the experience of being witnessed, supported, and held by others while staying connected to your own experience. When we experience safety and attunement in relationship, we can develop a felt sense of secure connection that allows us to go deeper—to stay present with emotions, soften protective patterns, and explore new ways of relating. You don't have to perform, have the right words, or know exactly what you need. You simply have to show up.
What we'll explore
-
Self-attunement and awareness of your internal experience
-
How emotions and protective patterns show up in the body
-
Moving toward emotions rather than away from them
-
Patterns of connection, disconnection, and protection
-
Experiencing yourself in relationship with others
-
Practicing vulnerability, authenticity, and receiving support
-
Developing greater capacity for emotional and relational connection
What makes this group different?
This isn't a group where you simply sit and talk about your experiences. We'll experience the work. Movement and somatic practices will help bring awareness out of the abstract and into the body, while EFT-informed process will help us explore the emotions and relational patterns underneath our protective responses. The group itself becomes part of the work—a place to practice connection, attunement, and being seen.
